Cress Craft Survival Server

GENERAL, Cress Craft Survival is a Java Edition Minecraft Server, to join view the instructions below.

INSTRUCTIONS, These are the basic instructions for joining the Cress Craft network. You need to first be whitelisted on the server you would like to play on, to do this you must post your exact Minecraft username into the General text channel on DISCORD with the name of the server you would like to join. To join the Survival server use S.CressCraft.com for the server address when adding a new Multiplayer server. Once whitelisted you will be able to join. Make sure to click yes to the recommended resource pack to optimize your vanilla experience. Now you are ready to play but you need to read the rest of the rules and information first.

ABOUT THE SERVER, The Cress Craft servers are vanilla, but have had some slight changes to better the experience. This includes several Datapacks, a server wide Resource Pack, and some Other Additions. Datapacks are built into the server and do not require you to make any changes.

In order to use the server Resource Pack you need to click ‘YES’ to the question prompted when joining the server for the first time, this will automatically download and apply the Pack. Both the Resource Pack and Datapack are provided by Vanilla Tweaks, visit their site for more information.  If the features of the server Resource Pack interfere with resources that you would personally like to use, then simply remove and then re add the server and click ‘no’ when prompted with the server pack download.

Other Additions include a Death Counter. Currently the servers are on Minecraft version 1.20.1 and the Seed for the Survival world is 3008475995660482142 (Originally Generated in 1.18). Survival Server Specs - Core i5 4590, 8Gb Ram, and Vanilla Server.jar.

RULES, These are the basic rules for all the Cress Craft servers, feel free to contact an Council Member on the General text channel with any questions regarding the following Rules. Although we are working together to make an amazing server, there is some personal space allowed. Don’t take anything that doesn't belong to you without prior permission. Don't use anything that doesn't belong to you without prior permission. No Griefing/Raiding/Killing Players without permission. Respect people's stuff, this includes claimed land and entities. Items Entities, and Structures that cannot be claimed include any Overworld END Strongholds, the Ender Dragon, and World Spawn. Claims can be made on the Map or in the game with signs or banners. No destroying of wild mob/entity spawners.

Don't harvest a biome for its resources unless it's outside of a 3000 block radius from the spawn in any dimension. No X-Ray Mod/Resource Pack. No Modding without permission by the Council and the Majority of the server members. No cheating! If something you are doing or have made is generating a large amount of lag, you may be asked to stop and refusal to do so will result in punishment. Recordings and Streams may be made while on this server, nothing on the server is excluded from this rule unless stated and agreed upon prior. With that in mind also be polite and keep the profanity to a low. No harassment, racism, or discrimination. Finally the most important rule is don't be a jerk, play nice and be respectful. By joining the server you inherently agree to all of the rules stated, violators will be punished by a Council Member. The use of Optifine is requested but not required.

MAPS, For the sake of organization and efficiency Cress Craft uses maps of the World and its resources. We do not use this program for exploitative purposes such as locating advantageous structures, this will need to be done manually. The primary purpose of using a map is to see the different biomes and plot out Bases and Locations for players. Only the original blank map of the world will be posted on this channel for reference, any new or modified maps should be posted in the Survival text channel. A Council Member has the right to refuse your claim if it is deemed to be too large or absurd. You can always contact a Council Member if you would like them to create a custom map of a specified area not yet posted. You can make a copy of a map posted on discord to plot and claim areas for purposes and then post it back to discord to help inform others of your intentions. MS Paint is often used for this purpose. You also need to post a picture of your MC head in the channel with your name so people know who is making the claim.

FINAL, Contact a Council Member with any questions in the General Text Channel. If a server is down contact a Council Member.
